Bush Goliath Hybrid Tomatoes in containers

Growing Bush Goliath Hybrid Tomatoes in containers for the first time this year.

Interested in feedback on whether it is best to be proactive and spray every so often for bugs and/or fungus as a preventive measure?

Also, any need to break off the bottom branches that are very close to the soil where some of the leave are actually touching the soil?

Spray only when needed. (And that's seldom in home gardens.)

Instead of spraying, visit your growing treasures daily to see how they're doing. That way it's easy to stop problems early on.

Started getting a couple of yellow leaves and several on a branch near the very bottom of the plant; these were touching the top soil so I broke those off; should provide now for better ventilation at the base though it seemed like a sign of fungus so sprayed with daconil.
