Jeff, you gave me a Jasmine plant at the Spring 2008 MTPS. Do you happen to remember what kind it is? Also, do you know if cuttings from it can be rooted in water?
It's Winter Jasmine and it blooms yellow...in Winter. :-)
I have no idea about cuttings but I'd take a stab at it regardless.

Probably, if it has a woody stem, it will root better in some light potting soil kept moist in a spot with indirect light.
Is this one Carolina Jessamine, Jeff - or is it an actual jasmine?

He's probably talking about winter jasmine, Jasminum nudiflorum. It looks a lot like forsythia when it blooms.
