Spots in Roma core (pics)

jessdmillerAugust 10, 2009

My roma tomatoes have weird spots inside about 1/2 of the ones I pick. Sometimes it's like a dry green clump, sometimes it just seems dry and sometimes it's dark colored.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Don't know of a cure. But most folks just cut out the bad spots and keep on truckin'.

Somebody on this forum once likened it to "internal BER". I don't know, but I see it with all of my paste types.
