White Worm-like on Tomatoes

chefbernsSeptember 1, 2011

I'm new in growing tomatoes. I started my cherry tomatoes from seeds and so far it's growing well for the past few months. Only recently, I've noticed some pests or shall I say white worm-looking pests (See photo). At first I thought I was looking at the eggs of white flies, but realize I these are definitely bigger and it doesn't look like the white flies I've encountered. My Colleague suggested to spray with soap water. It worked for a while but I would rather be able to eliminate it.

Look somewhat like aphids but wish the image was more clear to be certain. In any event, whatever they are looks squishable.
