Oak Ridge Arboretum Fall Wildflower Walk

brandon7 TN_zone(7)September 10, 2008

The Oak Ridge Arboretum's Fall Wildflower Walk will be held at the UT Arboretum on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 10:00am. Kris Light, a retired teacher, naturalist, and creator of easttennesseewildflowers.com, will be our guide. Anyone living within driving distance of the Knoxville and Oak Ridge area should come be amazed! I went last year and was absolutely blown away at the stuff I saw growing naturally in this area once I knew what to look for. After the hike, I started noticing that I had a huge amount of what I would have thought was really exotic stuff growing in my fields and woods. This will be a VERY EASY and SHORT (distance wise) hike packed with great scenery and loaded with information. If you have any questions, please email me or ask here.
