Monkshood is blooming now!

irisaddict(6b/7 TN)October 14, 2009

I didn't want anyone to miss theirs blooming. Mine just opened this week. I cut some for a bouquet for the first time ever since I had several bloom stalks and there is an almost freeze threatening Sunday night.

I didn't hobble down that far in the yard but I haven't lost anything from frost. My basil, tomatoes, and even brugmansia are all fine. So far so good.
