Colocasia 'Mojito'---where to buy???

msbattJanuary 10, 2010

What's the best place to get this one? I'm in love, but Plant Delights wants $20.00 a piece! Is there a place where I can indulge myself at a lower cost?

besides Plant Delights, here are a couple other places... though, they all seem to be similarly priced.

I bought mine from a local nursery in northern Florida. Look at the size on these ears, it has 4 stems in the pot and I only paid 11 dollars for it, definitely a steal...

I found it for around $15 at a local nursery - no shipping costs, and a larger, healthier plant than I would have found online.

I bought them on ebay from a company in south florida...of course I can't remember the name, but they have lots of tropicals on ebay. They were $4.95 each and if you buy 3 or more, the shipping is free. They came in tiny 3" pots, but you know how quickly they grow! Who cares????

Ok, I dug through my ebay log and here is the company I purchased my baby plants from ($4.95 each):

www.Wellspringgardens.org

They have flat rate shipping (so buy a lot!) and have a nice selection of rare elephant ears, and also specialize in carnivorous plants!
