pomagranate with braided trunk -photos

For those of us who like the look of a braided ficus trunk, but live in an area where ficus wont grow, i have found that pomagranate trees make an excellent substitute. This is the first year i braided the several "trunks" together. For anyone who lives in an area where pomagranate trees can grow (zones 8 & up, and possibly zone 7b), they look really cool with a braided/twisted trunk. and the blooms and fruit are an added bonus.
