plant ID please

Dear friends,

I received a seed pod from Israel and grew
this plant from the seeds. Can you tell me
what plant is this please. In my next post
I will show the photo of the seed pod and

Hi! I think you might get an answer more quickly on the name that plant forum. Do you know if it is edible, or ornamental?

It's a Kurrajong, Brachychiton species but not really sure which species. Probably B. acerifolius. The leaves on those plants are only juvenile so could change as the the plants get older. B. acerifolius is commonly called Illawarra Flame Tree. Brachychiton species are collectively called Kurrajongs. You need to be careful with the hairs around the seeds, they can do damage if inhaled or get in your eyes.
