Mango Tree - indoor

clik2(5a)June 10, 2013

Here is my version method of germinating mango plants indoors in Ontario Canada.
The image shown uses a SIP [self irrigation planter] a pop bottle cut in half with a wick used to feed the roots. Basically taking water as needed.

I started by wrapping seeds that were removed from the husks, in wet paper towels, then put in a clear plastic bag hung by the my south facing window.

The plant is a 15 months old in the pic.

That looks good. And that set up could be applied to lots of other plants as well.
