35 Inspirational Garden Quotes....

roselee z8b S.W. TexasMay 15, 2014

There are thirty-five inspirational garden quotes on this 'Gardening Gone Wild' blog entry.

Which is your favorite? Which one most speaks to you?

Or perhaps you'd like to post one of your own. If so we'd love to hear it, whether it's funny or philosophical.

This one might be mine from those listed below, but several more speak to me also.

"I think this is what hooks one to gardening: it is the closest one can come to being present at creation."

Phyllis Theroux

They are all beautiful quotes. I see at least a dozen new 'sign' projects.... :-))

Here's one of my favs: "A single rose can be my garden; a single friend, my world!"

I try to remember that one for when I get too old to garden. (But... I ain't there, yet, lol)

Thanks, Roselee.

I guess my favorite garden quote is:

Grace without perfection
Is more to be desired
Than perfection without grace.

I had it put on a sign for my yard. Pretty good words to live by too, as are the ones mentioned by Irene and Jolana.

What's among your favorites???

They are all wonderful! I do likeThomas Jefferson...
"Those who labor in the earth are the chosen people of God."
Having just retired a few month ago, I also love, "I am old man, but a young gardener!" (Have to change that to woman!)
Thank you so much for sharing!
