I'm flying to Los Vegas for my daughters wedding. If I win a lot of money than I'm buying everyone a plant.
Just for fun, what plant would you pick?
Well, depends on how much you won really... A 4 ft Texas Madrone Tree. PJ
Lady Slipper. (Just kidding....it won't grow here.)
I just hope you win, that would be cool
There are 2 plants that are really cool that you might like.
Can you fly plants back now?
Anyway, wooly mule ears and badlands mule ears
They are in the Aster family and their botanical name is something mollis, lol
Just have fun and tell DH that if Robert Redford comes up and wants to pay a million for a date with you, take it, lol
Good idea Jolana. He's pretty old now so his eyes may be failing and I just may look like Demi Moore to him if he squints. lol
Hehehe, you are real, not that I am suggesting you do anything but dinner, lol
Ahhh come on now, not EVERYTHING that happens in Vegas has to STAY in Vegas, does it? How about some pics when you return?
And as for the plant? Well duh......a MONEY tree ;). I hope you have a really great time. Nothing like a few days away from "it all" to put a fresh new perspective on things.
I am glad to know there are others as crazy as I.
Oh that sounds like so much fun, I went once and had a blast with my friends. Have a great time. Wish your daughter a wonderful and beautiful wedding.
Huh I need more ferns about a ship load LOL. Oh you said one - darn, guess I can't hit the jackpot LOL.
Hey, Carol Ann - what a blast. Hope all goes off without a hitch and you win lots of money. Don't bring anything back with you - I'll think of something really expensive to get HERE. LOL
Oh, and Barb - the ferns are still available at my house.
Well, I just got back from Vegas.
I have good news and bad news....
The good news is that I won 500 as soon as I put money in the slot machine!!!!
The bad news is.....
It was the penny machine!!!
Oh, and I lost all my winnings later!!!
No Madrone Tree. Darn! Don't know where to find one anyway. I'm glad you had a good time playing. How was the wedding?PJ
The wedding was gorgeous and they said the sweetest vows.
I really didn't care for Vegas. Too hot (110 46% humidity), too many people and unless you like to drink, gamble and watch expensive live shows then stay away from there.
I'm too much of a country gal and like the outdoors more.
Vegas was like my home desert with a bunch of partyers overunning it. I'm such a homebody!PJ
I forgot to say that I didn't win any money and I couldn't find Robert Redford anywhere.
What a waste....
I am glad the wedding went fine and was lovely.
The one and only time I went to Vegas, I did not like it either. Way too noisy for my ADD.
Glad you are back, Carol Ann and the wedding sounds lovely. I don't care for Vegas either, but I did find some good food there ------------
Did anyone notice that I misspelled Las Vegas?
I'm getting sooo dingie!!!!!
We need spell check on GW.
I did, but I was trying to be nice and not mention it.
Same here, Kathy - did not want to offend ---LOL.
Carol, I'm so glad you were able to go and witness your DD getting married.
Sounds like even if Vegas isn't for you, you had fun...that's always good, lol
I always love Vegas, it's so different then what I am usually doing, lol
