erythrina edulis, dioecious or monoecious?

banyan(NZ z10)September 17, 2008

I've jsut got hold of a couple of E. edulis seedlings, does anyone know if they have male/femlae trees, or if they are self-pollinating?

Thanks,

Ben

They have complete flowers. Erythrina can be self-pollinated but crossing gives better results.
