urgent! need id.

keylynSeptember 14, 2013

i've purchased this plant a few weeks ago and after acclimating it for weeks and finally putting it in an area receiving more direct sun, its leaves turned brown, almost crisp and still fleshy branchlets droopy after a day. (maybe because the root system is not prettier than i imagine and the plant is still establishing)

it may seem to be some sort of guava with smaller, crinklier and more delicate leaves than the ubiquitous guava tree i see here. and its bark as you can see is more reddish in color.

to clear some doubt and cultural requirement, i'd want to know the proper id. of the said plant.

The trunk does look like a Guava, and those tiny leaves. But still a bit difficult from just those photos.
