Russelia equisetiformis

TetraHSeptember 11, 2013

Hi- I have a young Russelia equisetiformis growing in a 6 inch pot since the spring. It wasn't watered for a week in full sun, and got rather crispy. What are the odds of it coming back?

Reasonable. They are fairly drought tollerant and have a sort of rhyzome growth - if there is life left underground it may recover.

Thanks! Should I cut the crispiness back down to the soil line?
