Theobroma Cacao pod

killgriff07(zone 9b So-Cal)October 19, 2008

Hello. I am interested in finding a chocolate pod to grow the seeds. I don't want to buy individual seeds from ebay, etc. because they have such a small ammount of time that they stay viable outside of the pod. Does anyone know where I can get a theobroma cacao pod? Thank you!

Try Montoso Gardens. They are great to do business with and very fast on shipping. Good luck!

Thanks. I have contacted Bryan and am going to purchase a small yellow pod once the weather warms up so it has a better chance during shipping.

Thank you so much

I received 5 pods from Puerto Rico (not Montoso) last week and they were fine. Our temps were well below freezing but the pods were wrapped well and shipped overnight.

Bryan suggested that I waited until March to order and I'm fine with that. Thanks again for suggesting his site.
