HAVE: Lots of pampas grass

While Pampas grass, properly managed and with it's feathery fronds can be a very attractive landscape plant, left unchecked and in just the right conditions it is also considered an invasive species that in some locales can be difficult to eradicate, particularly in parts of the humid coastal south. I once saw it growing wild on a barrier island along the NC coast where it had literally inundated the area. Still, people do like it.
