Cashews in California?

My first post in this forum

Just wondering if anyone here was growing Cashews in California. They are our favorite nut and we used them in cooking a lot. Just curious if they grow well here in Southern California, and where would I get a tree, or nut/seed

They seem to do well in parts of Florida, they do not tolerate any frost/cold temps. They like it hot, and a climate with a distinct wet/dry season. Since you get most of your rain when it is cooler I am not so sure they would like that. Just I guess.
