Native Plants sale

Hooti(z5 NY)April 22, 2005

Hi - I know I mentioned the Genesee County Conservation Dept's sale too late to have much time to order, but I picked mine up today and they have left overs for on site sale. There were some virgina bluebells, arrow arum, various ferns, pickeral weed, water lilies, blue flag iris - unsure what else (or what will be left when you get there, if you go). Their web page is at (click "soil and water"). Phone number is 585 - 343 - 2362. The site is the Batavia Fair Grounds which is on Rt. 5 on the east side of town. Unusre the hours because I think they took the card with the times on it, so calling would be good. It goes until sunday I think.

The prices are rock bottom compared to nurseries (about a dollar a plant) and defiantely worth checking out.

Hi Laurette,
I wish I were closer , it sounds like a nice assortment of plants and one can never have too many plants.
