tamarillo tree

alokii19July 6, 2014

I recently planted a tamarillo tree which is growing well and is about 2 metres tall. It has had flowers on it which just seem to drop off instead of xeveloping. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't have a tamarillo but every tree I've owned that dropped flowers was too immature to set fruit. Sometimes it's maddening because even somewhat large trees I own like my Jackfruit, Canistel, and Persimmon have dropped flowers.
