Still too wet here to do anything. We have had one day without rain, and the sun is out today, but storms are on the way.

I sure hope I can get something out of the ground by Sunday!!!!

I can certainly relate. I tried to do some planting yesterday evening. I put four seedlings in the ground and then gave up. It was just still too wet and to hard to work the soil even mixing in compost. Now today the sun is shining again but the winds are blowing everything all over the place.

I have a few things potted up but not a lot.

Ironically, I've had to WATER my container plants twice this week! LOL!

I'm slowly plugging away at the garden. I still have some beans, cucumbers, & melons to plant. Then I have a section devoted to all the extra seedlings that still need to be planted. So it's getting there. Nothing is going to be early this year.

Thank goodness for the perennial flowers! I have a peony and a couple of irises blooming!

It really is ironic. I spent the morning watering pots, and seedlings not yet planted and my tomatoes because of all the drying wind yesterday and today. I actually had some things that were wilting and they weren't even in the sun. One tomato plant was almost in total shade.

Rain again and I need to finish getting plants ready for the swap on Sunday.
