HAVE: have non-native grass, want native grass

freshair2townsquare(z7/8, D/FW)September 26, 2008

I have a large purple fountain grass (grew to over 5ft tall in one season, but I trimmed it today) that I'm going to divide and move in early October. I also have plenty of seed that I collected this afternoon.

I'd like to trade divisions of my purple fountain grass for native Side Oats Grama or Tumble Windmill Grass. You're welcome to the seed, but I'd rather receive divisions.

Amy I hope you'll bring your grasses to the Plant Swap on November 1 held at Forest Park. I don't know if you'll find what you're looking for in native grasses, but you're sure to find something pretty and besides who wouldn't want to spend a day with a bunch of radical Texas gardeners? Cheryl
