I'm look to see if anyone has an composting worms they can let me have. I used to have an active setup but I think they got too dry on me. I don't have very much to trade but I have a bunny ears cacti and I'm pretty good at making cactus soil. Thanks a bunch folks!

Hey There,
If you still have composting worms, I'd be interested. I have cactus to trade or brownies. I make really good brownies. :)

This post has gotten old and the gentleman never replied back. On another note Wally world sales large redworms (eisenia hortensis) that work also albeit at a slower reproductive pace. Might have to get some

You find worms in the sporting goods department at Walmart. They usually have a refrigerator close to the cash register in that department that is full of boxes of red worms and night crawlers.

The ones labeled European nightcrawlers or eisenia hortensis are the ones you want.

Uncle John's sells red wigglers. You can find them online.
After a Master Gardener training about composting and vermiculture, I ordered 1,000 of them. They are thriving and I am about to harvest the first castings soon.
1,000 costs about $40.

Good luck!
