I am in up-up state,Plattsburgh, and I am wondering if anyone has experience with globemaster allium-and when they bloom for you.Thanks.
I'm zone 5B and they bloom around May 15.
"Globemaster" is a great allium. It doesn't produce seeds, so it blooms a long time and doesn't seed around. The bulb does divide in half if it is happy and well-nourished, so a clump will slowly increase. Also it is long-lived.
