When is it safe to plant vegetable plants (gallon or smaller) in the ground without fear of freezing?
With no protection? Mid-to late May to be safe.

Country girl- you should visit my blog for more ideas. I've been able to grow produce and veggies year-round in northern utah which can be a challenge. It's March 3rd and my vegetable gardens are almost completely planted.
