Eucalyptus cinerea growing very well in unprotected area

river_city(7b)June 20, 2014

If anyone's interested, eucalyptus cinerea has been growing quite well here going on two winters now with no dieback in an unprotected, un-microclimated area of my lot in Richmond.

I've repeatedly gotten some raised eyebrows in disbelief on this - it's a very unusual plant to see growing here in ground.
