What's happening to my tomato plant?

JenamocrrMay 13, 2014

I have five tomato plants that have yet to be planted. One of the plants, the pink brandywine, has started to show signs of a problem. A few of the leaves are turning yellow at the ends with dark spots. What could this be, and will it affect my other plants? They are all in the same tray, but separate pots.

How soon can you plant it? It's very lanky and that pot looks tiny. It may be more stress than anything.

Be sure to plant it deep so that long stem can make lots of roots.

I hope to get it in the ground this week. It is lanky, but I can't garden at my apartment. So I have to travel to my inlaws to who are sharing their garden with me. I'm so close to planting at their place that I didn't want to bother transplanting to a new pot.

Plant asap. You can plant it deep and it will be ok. Remove the bottom leaf and plant a foot deep. Good luck.
