Vertical Zucchini

knechteldjJuly 9, 2008

Hi, the SFG website mentions that zucchini can be coaxed to grow vertically. Here is the info:

Does anyone know if you cut side stems to encourage to main stem to grow vertically (like you would with tomatoes) or do you simply coax each side stem to grow up the trellis?

Thanks very much,

David

Hi David,

This forum is definitely under-utilized. This question would more quickly be answered over at the veggie forum...otherwise, don't hold your breath!
