ID Fruit/Vine Help

fallenflame22October 19, 2007

My dad found this vine with fruit this afternoon. It was back in some woods growing wild up a tree. When we cut the fruit open it was light orange in color with about four or five seeds in it. We tasted it (stupid I'm sure)and it was slightly bitter. If anyone could help me ID this thing since I plan on trying to transplant/germinate I would appreciate it!!

Your red vine fruit might be Ibervillea lindheimeri. Check it out...
