Fence in shade zone 5

carailMarch 8, 2008

My first post :).

Hi im looking for something to cover a chainlink fence in my backyard. Its 100'long, 4' tall. Its under 4 large maple trees, so its pretty much always in the shade (except in early spring and late autumn when theres no leafs).

Im in Canada zone 5

I want something perennial, something that blooms would be nice.

Right now theres some wild grape vines growing on it (no fruit).

Any recomendations?

Boston Ivy, which could be problematic because it could grow into your neighbor's yard or another words invasive plants. Or go to this website and see what works for you:
