Help w/my creeping fig!

adriMarch 31, 2008

I planted six creeping fig by a north west facing masonry wall. They seem pretty healthy but they are not climbing or sticking to the wall. Why? Suggestions?

Thank you!

Give them some time, I planted mine about a month ago and it's just starting to stick to the wall, barely!

Really? My vines keep growing but no sticking. I keep trying to coax them by leaning them on the wall. I wonder if the texture, or lack of, of the wall also plays a part on their sticking ability? Patience is not a virtue!
