English ivy & wisteria taking over how to transplant?

laydeebug72April 22, 2013

We have english ivy and wisteria taking over our back yard. DH is on a mission to kill it all! Before he does I'd like to get clipping and pot some it. How can I cut them safely to transplant?

Wait, you have a plant, actually 2 plants, that are both known as incredibly invasive, your husband sensibly wants to battle them, and you want to spread them? How much do you hate this man? Let him battle the plants, he won't be finished for a long time, so you don't have to spread them. In other words, do nothing and you will still have both for a long time.
