Need more color and petunia question

msroseMarch 31, 2013

Most of what I plant in my backyard blooms, but the plants are mostly green. I feel like I need some foliage in other colors like gray, lime, burgundy. Any recommendations for something that doesn't get too big?

I'm thinking about planting petunias in my front yard, which is something I've never tried. I googled petunias and read that it's better to stick with the wave petunias or other crawling varieties because they don't have to be pinched back to continue blooming I was at Calloways and Lowes yesterday and didn't see any that were described as Wave or crawling. What kind will do best in Texas?
