I have seen a sweet potato vine growing as a ground cover. Can they be trained to vine up a fence? Thanks much.

Sharon,
I have the same question, so I posted this for an answer.
Mabey someone will respond.
They are probably not twiners though if they grow alon g the ground so easily.
Thanks to anyone who responds!

I've used them to cover small trellises in pots. They have to be tied to the trellis as they do not climb on their own. So, can you use them ...yes...they require help though.
