Pruning/cutting back Moonflower vine?

woburJune 30, 2008

I am growing Moonflowers in pots on my deck, and have them started growing up my 4ft. railing with twine. Should I pinch them when they get to the top, or train them to grow horiaontally? Do they need to reach a certain height to bloom well? Thanks! Wobur

Is your plant like this one?
it is a strong wine climbing, will give you a lot of seeds,
take off the seed will give more flower.I did pinch them in the beginning but it's not help, they growing like crazy!!
