2007 morning glory seed wild card pot

lord_baal(5)June 28, 2010

So I've recently started growing morning glories inside (I have a lot of room) I found some seed packs from 2007 in my house any chance any will still germinate for an inside planter?

The types I have are star of yelta, blue star, and a pack labeled tall mix

If the seeds were stored properly (cool, dry place) they should be fine.

Morning Glory seeds have a very hard shell so scoring them before planting will often result in faster germination.

Look for my thread. Maybe, the soaking will work for you. I soaked my moonflower for 24 hours and worked pretty well. It might work with morning glory. Good luck!

Oh ok so the year they were packed for shouldn't be an issue in that case I shall pot them up with some cypress vines for an inside planter
