English Ivy

lostsoul62(6)July 30, 2014

I have 2 sections on my house that is 3+ feet by about 30+ feet and I don't know what to do with it. One side is by the house and the other side is by 4x3 landscape timber. I'm putting in a picture of it. So the Ivy won't grow anywhere but those places. It's ever green so I thought it my be nice to have sometime like that but I have enough shrubs. I can let it crawl over the area in the picture that has the brown mulch on it?

Apart from all the other dire warnings likely to be coming your way soon, I'd just point out that ivy is a self clinging climber. It will start off up the walls of your house pretty quickly.
