2 unknown morning glories

karyn1(7a)August 18, 2008

Can anyone ID these 2 for me? The light one's colors didn't photograph well. It has a pink center changing to a pale blue and white at the edge.

TIA,

Karyn

Hi Karyn - The 1st one is Ipomoea purpurea "Jamie Lynn"

The 2nd one is an Ipomoea purpurea that looks like a Star of Yelta, but lighter blue than usual...

Hope that helps,...

Thanks for the ID. I did get some Jamie Lynn seeds from Emma this spring. My labels have a way of disappearing thanks to my 3 yr old. lol I have Star of Yelta but like you said it's much darker then this one.
