vine that has little 'potatoes' at the base of each leaf

mkgarrettSeptember 3, 2007

When I was a child and lived on the farm there was a vine that grew and climbed up the front porch posts. It had little things that looked like potatoes at the base of each leaf. They were about one fourth to one half inch long.I think it had red blooms.I would like to know the name of it and where to get seeds.Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
