Put two plants of this on some scrap fencing I wrapped around the ugliest old utility pole a couple years back and it is in full bloom now what a sight. It is very hardy and no care

Is also considered an invasive species in much of the country - very closely related to Japanese knotweed.

Polygonum aubertia, aka Fallopia baldschuanicum, common name silver lace vine or mile a minute vine.

I have this vine growing around my West Front Porch. It helps protect my Front Door from the Winds.

It is GREAT.....and looks nice, also.

Have heard it has an invasive tendency,so watch it closely and no sign yet of it spreading
