Raiku Japanese Morning Glory

gerris2September 4, 2009

I honestly do not remember from where I obtained the seeds that made this absolutely beautiful flowering vine, with the name of Raiku. Did I get them from you, Ronnie? It is definitely one for the blue flower loving gardener! Large 5 inch diameter flowers (when the weather conditions are right) on yellow-green leaves. I have this one sitting outside the window to our sunroom so my wife can enjoy the flowers while I am off at work. I hope this one makes a pile of seeds!

Nice one Joseph!! It's not one of mine. I grew one named Raiko from Dee I belive, and it was more on the purple shade.

Thanks, Ronnie! I booboo'd on the name; it should be Raikou. It came from Emma in a trade. This one is quite different from the packet description but I am happy and welcome variations in the flowers.
