Hyacinth Beans

karen_tennessee(7a)October 30, 2013

Please refresh my memory on saving seeds from my hyacinth bean vine. Do I pick the beans while they are still purple or do I wait until they are brown? We have had a slight frost already and if I remember correctly you want to pick the beans before a heavy frost. My beans are still purple.
Thank you.

Wait until the pod turns hard and brown. Frost won't hurt them.
