Strange spotted tomatoes :)

They should ripen the weekend of July 4th.

The quail will sit on the nest while I harvest tomatoes all around her. I would probably have to touch her to make her move.

How totally cool is that??? I am an avid bird watcher and this is really an incredible picture. Good luck on the maters and the quail babies.....soon to come.
Thank you for sharing with all of us..........

We have quail but they just sit on our fence. I think are afraid of my 21 month old son.

They are ripe! Found empty shells in the nest July 1, and saw parents with 8 chicks yesterday.

Do you think they help with bug control around your plants? Might have to get me a few, either way :)

Way to go with the pictures! I've never been able to snap one yet in the 7 years I've lived here!! Good for you :))

Our quail around here have been running around with their chicks for a good 3 weeks now. They are so cute to watch run with their little heads bobbing up and down LOL!
