Regrowing AV flowers

Jackie61(5)August 24, 2005

Hi everyone: I am a "Newbie" with a problem. I have an AV plant in a 4 inch pot (bottom waterer type)in a good quality potting soil; I use AV liquid fertalizer regularly. I managed to keep the blooms going for quite a while, but moved the plant to a room that was too warm and the flowers wilted. I brought the plant back to it's original location (east window, morning sun), but I cannot get it to rebloom. The leaves look very healthy. What can I do? I repotted it when it was first purchased, must I do this again to get more flowers? Thanks for your help! Jackie

Sorry Jackie, did you mean to post this on the African violet forum instead of the true violet forum? I'm sure we would all love to help you... but most of us here aren't experts on AVs :-)

Best of luck!
