I see this plant at many places in my lawn (Please see picture). I was wondering what it is and if it should be controlled. It doesn't seem to be spreading and stays in control with mowing.
What "this" are you referring to?
The daisy flowers? Or the low-growing something that's going to seed?
If the latter, please dig a plant then place on a plain background to photograph . (Then post the new image.)
I am attaching a better picture. Yes I am referring to the plant with the daisy like flowers. The leaves of the plant look more like green stems
Could be a number of different plants, but you might compare it to Chaetopappa ericoides, aka rose heath. It is always helpful to know your location.
