aluminum birdbath - toxic?

laur34December 23, 2012

Hi, the paint on the inside of my aluminum birdbath has largely come off. Is the bare aluminum toxic for birds?

Could I paint it? I'm worried the paint would be worse than the aluminum for their health!

Thanks!
