I am a super sleuth!

Found a big hornworm on one of my tomato plants in the garden this morning. Watched it poop on a leaf. I have some other Tom plants in containers on my balcony and had noticed a couple of the toms were gnawed at and there were droppings around but I thought it was birds. When I saw the one in my garden, I went up to the balcony for a closer look where I had seen the poop droppings, and there he was!

Now, what is the proper way to dispose of these creatures?

I throw them out in the road, so the birds can get 'em.

Little trick to find them. They glow under blacklights. If you can get a portable blacklight, you can find them much easier. Also, if you have good hearing, you can hear them munch as they are quite loud when eating.
