Palm trees in Dallas?

bill_ri_z6b(Zone 6B)June 19, 2012

I saw a video that was supposedly taken in Dallas. There were large Canary Island Date palms in the video, but I didn't think they would grow there. So either I am wrong about this, or the video information is wrong. If anyone has an answer, I'd like to know. Thanks.
