Time to get out the Daconil!

edweather(Zone 5a/b Central NY)July 28, 2011

It was about this time 2 years ago that late blight wiped out 90% of my crop practically overnight. I've already sprayed then twice this year. It's been hot and dry here in the NE, but lately it's moistened up a little, and we've had a couple of rainy systems move by. That seems to be when the blight comes in.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing. Lot's of yellowing on the lower leaves.

Luckily this year I did not have the blight, but this is a new raised bed so maybe that's why.
