Planting bulbs now?!

madisonkathyJuly 2, 2008

Cleaning out my potting shed, I came across a bag of daffs that I bought at an "end of season" clearance, last fall.

Some have dried out, but some have green coming out.

Do I plant them now? Wait until fall? Keep in the fridge until October?

I'm sure no expert, but I would get them into soil asap.
in the garden, in pots, whatever. I have done the same thing on occasion. I always stick them into dirt and then am surprised when I see a lily coming up the next year.
Cant bear to throw them out!

Thank, pondwelr,

Maybe I'll just dig a big hole, dump them all in, and see what comes up next year. Always love gardening surprises!
